Why Portland Transcription Services started

I founded Portland Transcription Services to bring together over 40 years of experience in secretarial and transcription roles.

Having worked in organisations such as the NHS, the Met Office and Exeter University, I have always taken pride in producing accurate, well-presented documents and supporting others through reliable, behind-the-scenes work.

Transcription is something I genuinely enjoy—it is not just about typing but about listening carefully, understanding context and turning spoken words into clear, professional documents.
